This article is for: SideDrawer Console Users

So far, we've looked at how to build and send Info Requests
Here, we'll cover how to track clients' completion of the Info Request, to help you be efficient with follow-up
We'll also look at how to edit your Info Requests after you first build them

Tracking Info Requests

In your Console, select Accounts > Manage Info Requests
This will bring up the Tracking screen, where you will see which Info Requests you've sent out, which Console user sent the request, which SideDrawers they've been sent to, and what percentage has been completed
You can use the Filter tool to search for user names, SideDrawer names, or Info Request names

Use these results for efficient follow-up, to send Reminders to clients who have not yet started their Info Requests, plan next steps for clients who have completed their Info Requests, and schedule check-ins for clients who have stalled partway

Click on the 3 dots to the right of an Info Request to bring up the Action menu, where you can navigate to the client's SideDrawer to view their responses, navigate to the Records page in their SideDrawer, add yourself as a Collaborator on the SideDrawer (if you aren't already), or delete the Info Request from this SideDrawer
Note: be careful when deleting Info Requests, as any data entered by the client will be lost!

Editing Info Requests

You can make changes and updates to Info Requests after they've been built, or create copies in order to make new versions

1. In your Console, select Productivity > Info Requests

This will bring up the Info Requests menu, where you can view your Info Requests and check key details

In this menu, you can see the names and Types of your Info Requests (Individual, Business, etc.)
Use the Filter Info Requests tool to search by name
Use the 3 lines icon on the left to drag Info Requests up or down in the list
The 3 dots icon on the right will bring up the Actions menu, for editing

From the Actions menu, you can:

  • Send Info Request to open a list of your current clients to send the

Info request to (see Article Link for more details on Sending Info Requests)

  • Preview this Info Request to see how the Info Request will appear from the clients' view

  • Manage Info Request Form to change details in the Info Request
This option will take you back to the building tool, where you can change text, reorder blocks, and add or remove blocks from the Info Request
Note: Once an Info Request has been sent, you can't change any of the existing questions, since they are now linked to clients' answers
You can still add new blocks, to create new questions or document requests for clients

  • Copy this Info Request to duplicate an Info Request
This is very useful if you need to make a new version of an existing Info Request
For example, make a copy of '2023 Financial Documents Request' in order to create '2024 Financial Documents Request'

  • Rename Info Request to change the name and description of your Info Request

  • Delete Info Request to delete the Info Request
Note: if the Info Request has been sent, deleting it will also delete the copies in all clients' SideDrawers!

In the Manage Info Request Form menu, you can:

  • Use the 3 lines icon on the left to drag content blocks, to change the order of items in the Info Request

  • Create New Item to add items to the Info Request

  • Click on the 3 dots icon on the right to open an Actions menu for an existing item

    • Edit Item to change the wording or other details
(You will not be able to edit items in an Info Request that has already been sent)

    • Clone Item to duplicate that item

    • Switch Mandatory items to Optional, or vice versa

    • Delete Item to remove that item from the Info Request
(You can delete an item from an Info Request that has been sent, but this will delete any responses to this item in clients' SideDrawers)

We've now covered all the core elements in Info Requests from the Console side!
In our last article, we'll go over what the Info Request looks like from the clients' side, in the front-end app:
