This article is for: SideDrawer Console Users
Now that you've built your Info Request, it's time to start sending it to your clients, so they can fill it out!
There are a few paths you can take, but the basics are always the same:
You'll always need to select the Info Request to send, and choose the SideDrawers you want to send it to
From the Info Requests Menu:
You can send a single Info Request to one or more SideDrawers by selecting that Info Request from the menu
In your Console, select Productivity > Info Requests to open the Info Requests menu
Select your Info Request from the list, or use the Filter tool to search for the Info Request you want
Click on the 3 dots to the right of the Info Request name to open the Actions menu, and select Send Info Request
This will bring up a list of all SideDrawers of the Type that matches the Info Request (Individual, Business, etc.)
Select one or more SideDrawers from the list, or use the Search SideDrawers tool to find the ones you needClick on Send Info Request(s) to deliver the Info Request to the selected SideDrawers
Note: any SideDrawers that have already received this Info Request will appear on the list, with a checkmark and a gray outline
This lets you avoid duplication, by alerting you that this Info Request has already been sent to that SideDrawer
During Side Drawer Creation:
When you create a new SideDrawer, the final step in that workflow is to send Info Requests
In this step, you'll be able to choose from all the Info Requests you've built, to send one or more to the SideDrawer
When your client registers their account and goes to their SideDrawer, those Info Requests will be already there, waiting to be filled out
In your Console, select Accounts > SideDrawers, then click on Create a new SideDrawer
Follow the prompts to create the SideDrawer, add Collaborators, and send Content Packages
At step 5, select the Info Requests from the drop-down, or use the Filter line to find the ones you want
Finally, click Send Info Request(s) to deliver them to the SideDrawer
Tip: if you don't see Info Requests listed in the drop-down, try reducing the zoom in your browser display until the list of Info Requests appears
During Info Request Creation:
When you build your Info Request, as seen in [Link to Article 2], you can send the Info Request right away
From the SideDrawers Menu:
If you are working on one SideDrawer, and want to send Info Requests to it, you can do that from the SideDrawers Menu
In your Console, select Accounts > SideDrawers
Select the SideDrawer you want to send to, click on the 3 dots to bring up the Actions menu, and select Send Info Request
This will bring up the same menu as in option 2 above, showing all available Info Requests
Select the ones you want to deliver to this SideDrawer, and click Confirm
Note: Any Info Requests that have already been sent to this SideDrawer will appear on this list with a checkmark and a gray outline, to help avoid duplication
From the Front-End App:
If you're working in a client's SideDrawer, and you don't want to go back to the Console to send an Info Request, you can do it from within the SideDrawer!
In the SideDrawer, click on the Shortcuts button from the left-hand menu, then select Send Info Request(s)
Select the Info Request from the drop-down, or use the Search Info Requests tool to find the right one
Note: In this flow, you can only select and send one Info Request at a time
Once you click on the Info Request, it will be delivered immediately to the client's SideDrawer
Notifications:
When you send an Info Request, an email notification will be sent out
The notification will go to any Collaborators on that SideDrawer with Owner, Editor, or Contributor permissions at the SideDrawer level
The notification email will advise that there is an Info Request, and will list the sender, the name of the Info Request, and the SideDrawer it was sent to
When the user clicks on the link in the email, they'll be taken to the SideDrawer login page
Once they log in, they'll be taken directly to the Info Requests page of the relevant SideDrawer, where they can view and complete the Info Request
In our next article, we'll look at Tracking clients' completion of the Info Request, and editing Info Requests later on:
