You can turn off and on all timeline notifications by completing the following steps.
Navigate to Summary, in the Front End.
From the left hand menu select My Account.
From this screen's menu select Personal Information.
Scroll to the bottom of this page and toggle between the on and off button for Activate personal notifications.
Select the Update bar.
