SideDrawer collaborates in two ways:
· For the entire SideDrawer (defaults with Sponsorship)
· For an individual record
When sponsorship with a client is with a Premium SideDrawer license, you are granted editor permissions (the ability to add, delete or edit anything in your clients’ SideDrawer.
Your client may want to restrict you from any information unrelated to your advisor-client relationship (i.e., if you are an insurance broker and your client does not want you to view their private banking information).
TO FURTHER HELP YOUR CLIENT, first make yourself a Record Collaborator on records you need have access to and then delete yourself as a SideDrawer Collaborator.
If you delete yourself first, you will not be able to add yourself to any records and your client must be notified to do it on your behalf.
1. First, log in and open your client’s SideDrawer.
2. Click on Collaborators.
3. If you are currently a Collaborator, select it by clicking on it.
Choose the three dots (...) Icon to the far right and select Update this relationship.
(then choose or modify the relationship, personal or professional, and the type of
business relationship).
4. Decide on what records from the records list you’ll need to access.
5. Choose to add changes to permissions to individual insurance records or to all records
at one time.
6. Click CONFIRM.
7. Lastly, find your name in the SideDrawer Collaborators section and click on the trash
can icon to delete yourself.
