This week's focus is around the Collaborators functionality.
With additional professionals and family members being added to individual SideDrawers, we got more insight on how you wanted to interact with this functionality. We have made a number of enhancements on this feature.
So with that, here are the key updates to highlight:
Add Teams to Collaborators
This can consolidate the number of Collaborators that show up on the Collaborators screen,
Advisors and Admins can be combined and displayed as a Team.
You can add Teams directly as Collaborators.
Faster Collaborator changes
We combined the SideDrawer and Record collaborator screens so that changes can be made from a single view.
Faster Relationship selection
Adding a new Collaborator required selecting the type of relationship (Personal or Professional), and then the actual relationship. We streamlined that so you can use the suggestions and type them in.
New ability to save Passwords
Clients had requested a secure way to save passwords for their online accounts within SideDrawer. Now within each Record, you can create a new Custom Field, select Password, and enter in the account name and the related password. The password will always be masked, and you can click on the "eye" to view it.
New SideDrawer view in Console (for Professional users)
We had a request to view SideDrawers, in addition to the client names. We had seen a growing number of Users who preferred to Own the SideDrawer and invite their clients as Collaborators. Now all those SideDrawers can be managed under the SideDrawer.
💡Tip!
We will be hosting a SideDrawer 201 webinar today to walk through these changes. Please refer to this help article for registering to our webinars.
If you can not attend, we will make the recording available for you to watch at your convenience.
Other Updates
Timeline: We removed the ability to delete items within the Timeline.
