This Article is for: SideDrawer Console Users, with per-SideDrawer accounts
For business subscriptions on a per-SideDrawer basis, your subscription cost is based on how many SideDrawers you create and license to your clients.
Note: If your subscription is on a per-user basis, the SideDrawers you create are automatically licensed, so the contents of this article won't apply to your subscription
To check your subscription details, go to Console > Subscriptions
Subscriptions are either set up as per-user, where the cost is based on how many admin user licenses you have, or per-SideDrawer, where the cost is based on how many branded/licensed SideDrawers you have

What Is a License?
What Is a License?
The license represents the ownership of the SideDrawer and the cost of that SideDrawer.
When you create a licensed SideDrawer or assign a license to that SideDrawer, you are giving your client primary ownership of the SideDrawer and its data, and also sponsoring the cost of that SideDrawer.
Any SideDrawers you license count toward your total assigned SideDrawers, paid for in your subscription.
If you part ways with a client, you can revoke the license - at this point, the client can retain ownership of the SideDrawer, and take over payment for it.
When you revoke a license, that SideDrawer will no longer count toward your total, so the cost is transferred from you to the client (or ex-client).
Per-SideDrawer Subscription: Managing Licenses
Per-SideDrawer Subscription: Managing Licenses
With the per-SideDrawer subscription, you can create SideDrawers in your Console, then assign them to your clients when ready.
The client will become the owner of the SideDrawer, and the SideDrawer will retain your branding and UX settings of your environment.
Assigning Licenses
Assigning Licenses
If you have a per-SideDrawer subscription, any new SideDrawers you create will automatically be assigned a license.
Each new SideDrawer will count toward your total, so when you create a SideDrawer, you'll see your Assigned Licenses go up by 1, and your Available Licenses go down by 1.
